Ok guys, I just got two AI a Prime 16 HD reef lights for my 60 gal aquarium and and trying to figure what the best schedule and color arrangement should be. I want to start putting coral in my tank and my levels seem to be all good to go.
Alkalinity DKH 9.6
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 12
Salinity 1.024

I have vortech mp10 and Hydor Koralia 800gph powerheads.

Now all I need is the right settings for my lights. It has not been an easy task trying to find light settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s my tank and the schedule. Imo, just one probably isn’t enough as I have 2 over a 20 gallon.

What are the dimensions of your tank? Is it a 60 cube or a long tank? What types of corals do you want to keep? Will it be an SPS dominated tank? Mixed reef? Softies only?

I have a very odd shaped tank. It is
48L x 12D x 24H. I originally got for freshwater but decided to turn into saltwater. I plan on trying to have a mixed reef tank but will probably be SPS dominant.

That is an odd shape for a reef tank. It is too tall and too narrow. You can make it work tho. The video posted above is the best resource most of us would have access to. You won't be able to get the required spread and PAR to grow SPS dominated tank with 2 AI Prime, regardless of the settings.

You might want to look into t5 lighting. That might be a better option for you.

AB+, Saxby, Pirates and BRS are some of the top settings that most use. If you join the Ai Prime / Hydra group on FB a lot of people will help you there. Most any of them will work to grow corals you just need to pick or modify it to your liking is what I’ve found.

It's basically a standard 55 gallon dimension, plus like 2 inches of height.

@Janna-Leigh another resource of light settings is the aqua illumination website. You can both see and download settings from their "signature" series of lighting. World Wide Corals also has some presets available. But in either case, I'd really recommend getting / renting a PAR meter to help you set the intensity and get a sense of your light levels throughout your tank.

Here are the links for AI and WWC

You'll need at least 3 of these lights on your tank especially if your wanting sps dominant. I have 2 of them on a 36" long tank and it's just enough for lps and softies, I wouldn't be able to keep sps in my current tank with only two of these lights

If you have the means, I would recommend selling this tank and getting something a bit wider for your reef. 12" is kind of a pain to deal with, everything is just so tight from front to back. Aquascape options are pretty limited. With a 24" tall tank and only 12" width, it's difficult to get a good foundation/base of rock to build taller structures to occupy that 24" height, unless you plan on leaning rocks against the back wall, which can create flow/detritus issues. But if you are stuck with it or completely sold on this tank, it can be done.

What corals are you planning.
Sps most demanding,
Lps and softies less.
Brs did a good demo of par with ai primes
I think spectrum was included.

None of those setting really help me. Size tank and light selection are different.
You can use those settings; they’re more or less interchangeable between lights because they all use the same puck. The Prime is just single puck vs 2 puck and 4 puck options. Also, you can modify the intensity by using multitouch. Hold one finger on the screen and then swipe up and down to raise or lower the overall intensity.

That being said, as others have noted, you won’t be able to keep SPS with just two of those lights. You could do soft corals, but the depth of the tank is a problem. Also, the spread is 24”x24” so in a 12” wide tank a lot of the light is going to spill out into the room.
