Thinking of going with the BRS Ab schedule for my fluval 13Gal but I have heard I should lower all the settings by 50%. Does this include the 19 percent white light and 4 percent reds or just the high intensity blues. Also what about watts at the top of the schedule? should I lower that by half as well?

Also how long should I run the acclimation mode for? My tank is LPS and soft dominant with a few sps arriving soon.

All depends on what PAR you are currently running now, and what the total par will be with the AB+.
Since you have corals in already:
If they are in similar par I wouldn't run acclimation.
If they are NOT similar in par, then a acclimation mode of 5-7 weeks would be fine.

Def not the same par the orbit is notoriously underwhelming in par. The new ai prime is very high Intensity. Even on the lowered intensity program it blows my orbit out of the water.

I will take that 5 to 7 week acclimation tho that feels right with how long stuff takes to normally change in a reef on its own.

Renting a par meter soon

I switched from a orbit IC pro to 2 prime 16HDs(using BRS AB+) and had hit BRSs numbers(settings) in 2 weeks without any problems. My corals really like the primes.

I'm finding my Corals are having an AMAZING reaction to the lights. I am running 5o percent acclimation for 2 weeks and 5 days in. Everything looks gorgeous!
