Hey guys so I'm looking for lighting that is visually appealing, economic, and fully programmable.

The prime fits all the requirements and at only $200 it is a steal!

The tank will be 24x24x8 but distance from sand bed to surface will only be 6" so light penetration will not be an issue. I plan, and would love, to keep sps/maxima clams. Rock work would be focused mostly under the fixture and the sand bed will be on the outer edge of the lighting and will contain mostly acans/zoas. Would this light be sufficient enough for this? Any other suggestions if not? I'd love to stay under $250.

The 26 would definitely be enough but it costs more and I would need a controller to have all the benefits of the ai prime.

Can either of you give advice on the settings on the prime. What should I run my colors for best results for coral. No one has responded to my question in 3 weeks. I really like the prime. My tank is 13x13x21 light is more than enough for my tank.

I don't have experience with the prime but so long as you provide enough light the color is all up to you on what looks more visually appealing to you.
