AI Prime Fuge for growing corals?

I have an extra AI Prime Fuge and need a light for coral, anyone tried a FUGE light for coral growth?

It would be a bad idea. It is very red and corals do not seem to do well with an abundance of red (especially only red). The UV and white would be fine but it would be extremely weak.

i figured as much.. but i was really hoping the photosynthesis in plants would be the same in corals and that red just wasnt used because it looks bad and doesn't make the corals pop.

No. Corals use mostly the higher blue ranges.
Algae uses the red (hence the reason there are separate types of lights).
Adding a fuge light would only encourage nuisance algae.

The degree to which an algae benefits from one color more than another depends on the algae species and their adaptations to their environments.
