Hey Folks,

I've got a 60 cube that needs a light. While I'm not sure that I want to worry about trying to grow things on the bottom of the tank, it might be nice to be able to in the future. My other thought if the Prime HD isn't enough (And looking at some online charts, I think it might) would be to go with a single Hydra 26.

I've got a Prime HD on my 30 cube now and I really like it, of course it is half the depth (12") than the 60 cube.

Thoughts?

(Also not looking at other lights at the moment - I really like my settings on the Prime)

On a 60 cube you would need a hydra 26. However, if you already have a prime HD, I would just get another prime HD and use it with your old one. That would save you money and would literally be the same power as the hydra 26.

So the Hydra 26 is two pucks or basically two primes together, right? I still need my light over the 30, so I'd be better off with the Hydra I think.

Thanks Spare!

Yes the hydra is basically 2 prime HDs next to each other.
