I’m looking for a full spectrum with moderate intensity and I’m not sure if I’ve achieved that. Just want to make sure I’m not pleasing my eyes I’m pleasing the corals as well. Any help is appreciated.
My current settings are:
UV:70%
Violet:60%
Royal:50%
Blue:50%
Green:4%
Deep red:4%
Cool white:16%
With a 2.5 hour ramp time and on for 9 hours.

Is that a NUVO10? I think so based on the picture. I have one and the light settings that I will use correspond to the AB+ spectrum (replica) as shown in BRS’s product showcase on the Prime HD. I just toned each channel down so the intensity was less but the spectrum was the same.

EDIT: I want to mention that I have not actually tested this spectrum with any life yet as I am still setting up my tank.

Yeah it’s a Nuvo 10, i went off of the BRS setting and just toned it down a bit. I moved some frags around because it looked like it was too much light. Hopefully everything works out well.

Keep the thread updated on how things go. I would love to see how it works out for you!

Nice. I run the HD Prime on my Fusion 20 with the following:
UV:40%
Violet:55%
Royal:60%
Blue:60%
Green:0%
Deep red:0%
Cool white:2%

Ramp up 1 hours on and off cycle, and colors are on for 8 hours.

That’s awesome. I just found David Saxbys settings and downloaded them. I think i might try that for a few weeks and see what happens. It’s not that my frags are having any issues i just wanted a setting that was more benefit for them an not my eye. I really don’t care what the tank looks like as long as it benefits the inhabitants.
