AI Prime HD Lighting opinions for SPS

Hey R2R I'm looking for opinions on my lighting schedule over my IM Fusion 20. I'm hoping to grow more SPS in the near future.

Lights start at 12 PM and run until 5 AM. My whites are running at 60% for four hours with a four hour ramp.

Assuming that you only have one Prime, then you may want another unit to have really good coverage over the entire tank.... especially if you want to grow SPS everywhere. If you are only wanting to grow a couple with one Prime, then you will need to make sure they are placed right under the fixture. Also, your light schedule might be a tad bit long. I realize the whites are done early, which helps, but you may need to back it down to like 2 am or so. For good coverage, I always recommend one Prime per 12" of tank length.

Is there anyway I can leave the lights on until 5 AM? I like to see the tank when coming home from work.

And I am only planning on keeping a few SPS. Currently have a birdsnest, acro and digi. All directly underneath the light.

I like to run the lights for about 10 - 12 hours total... with a 3 hour ramp up and a 3 hour ramp down. If you want the lights to be on during the time you are home, then set them up that way. Mine don't even turn on until 4 pm. I would run the whites the whole time... just keep them at the lower % like you have them now. I use to have 5 Primes over my 5 foot tank. I would run the blues at 100%, whites at 50% and red/green at 15%. That seemed to give a nice color and growth.
