I have 2 ai prime HD on my IM 40, my question is the setting I'm at is about 28 watts max during its peak time. Is this a good amount? I'll post the schedule as well. Basically I'm just making sure it's high enough to keep everyone happy and for the coral to grow well.

Also making sure 28 watts with 2 lights is a good amount as well.

Edit: I've also got a bunch of mushrooms, zoas, and Lps and 2 montis

Hey thesoalpatch,

You might let us know how high the lights are mounted, what type or coral do you have, and how deep your tank is.

Just looking at it initially, I think your output maybe high. Have you watched the video on Bulk Reef Supply’s site? It is incredibly informative about the AI Prime HD specifically.

I’ll attach what I personally run on mine. I’m using a 26 Hydra HD which is comparable to two primes. I am 7” above the water on a 24” Cube (24”deep). I have been doing decent with these settings.
