Ai prime HD Or marine orbit duel pro!?

A 40 breeder is a type of tank, generally breeder tanks are generally wider and shorter than standard tanks. A 40 breeder measures 36x18x16 and it's what I run. For your lighting I'd go with the primes ;)

Roger that always enjoy your input waiting on my prime replacement to come hopefully won’t have problems again

Ai Prime HD on my 6 UK gallon nano....no experience with the orbit but love the prime

ah good thread as I am between them as well. in my case an odd and expensive tank to light. the IM 20 peninsula @ 30x12x13
I dont want a bunch of mounting hardware messing up the view.

I am looking at the 24" orbit marine pro or 1 AI prime but will need 2...sigh so much for a cheap couch project tank.

wish BML was still making aquarium lights there where hands down the best for odd sized tanks that dont blind you in your living room.

OP reefbreeders also has a puck wifi led light its a few bucks cheaper than the primes..

Current setup with the ai prime

I got two marine orbits over a 20 gallon. One is a IC loop the other the pro or something. I started with one and then got a second. I forgot why. I get good growth on sps and lps. my zoas are weird though. only grow a little. Two not at all. I did lose birdsnest twice though. This may have been when my dosing pump went berserk. And I got a bad alk spike. the second time was high phosphates. Raising coral is fun and full of heartache. I dose 10ml once a week. One water change every two weeks. I use Red Sea salt the purple label. Mostly just test for alk. I also started running phosguard. See how that works out
