Hi guys, Im 2 days in with my brand new AI Prime HD. I found some youtube video on what settings to have each light channel at but I was wondering what the pros here think. Im running
UV: 90
V: 90
RY: 90
B: 90
G: 10
DR: 5
CW: 22
all from 9am-4pm with a one hour ramp.

I am having a serious cyano problem at the moment too, just made my self an egg crate filter holder but what settings should I lean towards for decreasing cyano growth?

Cyano typically means you have dead spots. Add flow to those areas and it should go away. As for AI Prime settings, you can really set it to whatever you'd like and let it ride, but the key thing to remember is that you need to leave it alone once you decide on something you like.

My 2 cents - have the same light over a Nuvo 10, be careful running that high at 90, the light can put out quite a bit of light and high PAR levels.

I just checked mine - at 60% on most channels mid-day which gets me close to 300 par at the top for LPS.

I have had to lower intensity several times due to frogspawn lightening up and losing color due to too much light.

If you want to do SPS you can keep it cranked up.
