Hello Fellow reefers, I just upgraded my lighting to an AI Prime HD, there is an acclimation period to have all the livestock get use to it. I was told to keep all the colors NO HIGHER THAN 30% for about 4 weeks then gradually start increasing so as not to shock anybody. I have set it with the blues at 30% and the rest of the colors below 25% (the look if you will). One of my mushroom corals which really was opening up BIG doesn't seem to be enjoying the settings. Any input on where to set the colors will be highly welcomed!
Thank You!

If the mushroom is in direct light. Then move it to shadier non direct light location. Give it plenty of time to see if it will fully open in it's new location.

I assume you didn't get PAR readings with your old lighting. Don't go on appearances, get PAR readings with your new lights, then use the acclimation period to bring them up to the levels you need.

The other thing is LEDs penetrate deeper than T5s. They are directional like halides, so the bottom of the tank will be brighter even if the PAR values at the top match the old T5s.

I'm not an expert but I would just simulate the light where they came from then gradually raise to your liking. I would not do the 4 weeks. I acclimated my live stock with lights off for an hour then just set at my regular scheduled ligthing
