I also use the Saxby setting .i.it has been my favorite schedule...its a very long and intense schedule so use acclamation mode

I slowly ramped mine up from 35% and now use the David Saxby setting :)

That seems like a very strange setting lol! I gotta ask, who is this guy?

I'm certainly interested in the Saxby setting just to see how it looks in my tank. But, my settings are 60/65/65/65/5/5/10. I like a little more of a blue look. I had to ramp this up from about 35 max at Blues from the stock lighting. Be careful because I toasted all my Montis at the top of my rockwork. Everyone is settled in and growing nicely. I will say that stuff colors up really well, but different from when I get it. Not a bad thing, but worth mentioning I guess. Also, corals like stability. So, find a setting and go with that for a while. Really try to avoid messing with it all the time. If stuff looks healthy and is growing and you like the aesthetics then that's the setting to go with IMO.

Oh, I've seen that tank before! Thank you @slapman83

Definitely an interesting schedule, but I suppose that's for his entire tank not his zoas specifically?

A question gents n gals

The David Saxby settings,I assume, are tailored for a certain size tank?

How would I modify it for a 5 gallon cube? Some soft and sps.

Thank you

I have the settings on my 6 gallon and 12 gallon. I just turned down the highest blues a little bit. Everything seems happy. Do you have the AI Prime on your tank right now?

Hello

Yes, I have it on my tank now.
Although I used the 2-finger swipe down gesture to decrease all levels in tandem.
It felt a bit bright. But that should be because I'm still conditioned to the cheapie that came with my tank.

I have it approx 7 inches suspended over the tank.

But because it's nighttime now, all lights are off.

Did you go straight to the David Saxby settings from your cheapy? I think mine are about 8-10 inches off. I forgot that you can lower that way, I probably should have done that. Lol

I experimented a little with manual and easy setup before loading the David settings.

Smart! I added a sister light on my 12G during cycling and should have slowly ramped up. Ended up with hair algae. Whoops! It’s all stable now though.
