Ai prime mounting bracket hd16

I just received a AI prime mounting bracket for a HD16 I believe the counter bore is on the wrong side. This is the park where I screw into the light. The counter bore is on the outside next to the light. I am unable to tighten the screws as they are not long enough as it is. I have pics but not sure how to post them

Is this the Prime hanging kit or the rigid arm mount? The piece you show fits on differently depending on which kit it is. That piece faces out on the arm bit on the hanging kit it faces in (over the lamp head). It sounds like you have the arm but wanted to confirm. I have the hanging kit and this difference screwed me up. There are no instructions in the package for the hanging kit.

This is what it should look like all assembled, the silver piece should be able to swivel, the little black piece is attached to the arm with two little black screws.

This is an old thread but I’m having the exact same problem. I finally got them to hold but if I try tighten them at all they fall out again. Did you manage to sort the problem?.
