iv talked to 2 or more people who have reef tanks and swair up and down you don’t need bright white, and get better colors with out it at all? Looking to hear more people’s opinions cause honestly I’d rather be blue all day lol. The white really frowns out all coral color.

So they say you really only need to run the UV as a day time cycle all other colors are more or less for looks
 
I run an automatic schedule with this as my peak and get great colors from all of my corals and anemones:

I am using a Hydra 26HD (pretty much equivalent to 2 Prime HDs next to each other). I have it set to ramp up for 2 hours, hold peak for 4, then ramp down for 2 hours.

This is loosely based off of the AB+ settings for the Ecotech Radions and the BRS Investigates video (links below), I have modified it slightly for my preferences. I am also attaching another thread you might be interested in.

When making changes to your lights, make sure to enable the acclimation mode for your prime for a length of at least 2-3 weeks. I usually set the starting % of everything to 50%.
