Hi, I have 2 Ai prime hd on my 200ltr tank but not sure if I have them to far away from water or if my setting is any good as my BTA’s are not bubbling and seem to be stretching for the light. Help and advice would be very helpful

Max out the first 4 channels and use the others to what appears nice to you. That light is a little weak for that sized tank so don't hang them too high. Also bubble tips can be weird with their shape. I'll say something unpopular and say that red won't increase the algae more than the blue because zooxanthellae IS algae and blue light is the main wavelength for chlorophyll a

Ok m8, thank you. I have 2 primes and they are Bout 10inches for the water. So do you think lowering them might help for now? And looking at getting another light?. And changing the settings as you said.
This is what my lights are on at mo

Edit
While red may not cause more algae necessarily, it acts as additional usable light for algae where as there are corals that use red as a signal to shield themselves from too much light which could damage the zooxanthellae (red light indicates shallow water)

It is best to raise those channels slowly as corals don't like suddent light changes. However if the anemones are reacting poorly and the soft corals aren't then I guess its ok if you did that already. 10 inches is fine but consider looking at AI's website to see how their light spreads. Lowering them could help but I really don't see 10 inches as too high. I know people hang them over a foot and thats why I mentioned that. PS when I said weak for the size I wasn't trying they are bad. AI just recommends 1 per 18inx18in area If I remember correctly. But before you'd consider dropping money on a new light, I recommend renting a par meter if you are worried.

Also what are the dimensions on the tank. I just assumed based on the volume but then realized your tank is probably different than what I am thinking (meaning your lights could actually be perfect for that tank in a way)

I would boost UV to 65% over a few weeks and violet up to where blues are at, then lower whites to 15%
