Looking to create my own custom lighting schedule for my AI Prime 16 HD. Just curious if there are any Not To Do that I should avoid such as keeping the reds and greens below a certain level.

reds shouldn't be above 5%, similar to greens. However whites aren't very important or bad. as long as you have enough of the other spectrum whites can be as high as you want. i still wouldn't push beyond 30% though. Also BRS uses higher levels of UV and Violet than blues. I found it makes the corals pop more

brs shows 125 on both blues, 167 on uv and violet, 10 on green and red, 65 white. That is at max. If you were using a smaller nano than they had percentage ramp down from there
I am setting up a waterbox 20 cube. I want it mixed reef. I have went by BRS video but it is different than the one above. Seems to lack white to me. Any suggestions appreciated. Sorry for the poor quality pic. 29w, then goes across- UV-119, Vioet-116, Royal-79, Blue-80, Green-4, Red-4, Moonlight-0, White- 19.

I agree it does lack white. This is my first reef. All my other tanks in the past have been FO. The thing I am realizing is the more coral I add the more I like the blue a little more with each new coral lol
