Hey guys hope everyone is having a great New Year so far. I got a ai prime HD a few weeks ago and I’ve been messing with them since then. I’ve been to the presets off ai website, I’ve scoured the web and I’ve also tried making my own which let me tell you is a “PITA” on a iPhone with big fingers lol I’ve been to the fb groups. What I’m looking for is the best setting for my nems like intensity, duration, what kelvin and so on. I’m asking here because I know there are a lot of lighting gurus that have a lot more knowledge on lights and lighting then I do. I don’t have a par meter so here is the tank I have for dimensions. I own the coralife 29 gallon bio cube which has these dimensions 22-3/8"L x 24-3/8"W x 20-5/8"H. My light is 12” above the water. Now the nems I have are 6 GBTA, 1 RBTA, 1 RainbowBTA and 1 SunburstBTA. Any help from any one would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you’ve done your research. Have you not liked any of the settings you’ve found already?

Nems aren’t too tricky since they’ll get up and move if they don’t like your intensity.

Yes I have I don’t like asking questions I can find for myself with a little searching. What my problems is certain pars and kelvins are with MH, T5, and LEDs and it’s just a little confusing to me. The presets I’ve used some are nice but are short in duration or intensity or high in intensity and duration.

I uploaded pictures of the profiles I have dled or made and I just don’t know the ones circled are the ones I have been messing with I’m just sortta lost if anyone has any insight I could use it. I like the Kendall brown one but I don’t think the intensity is enough but trying to adjust that on a iPhone is crazy hard

Only real way to have an idea of intensity is to get a par meter.

I prefer to keep it simple. When I ran my hydra hd stand-alone, I had an on and off time with an intensity and spectrum that was close to the AB+ that I’m sure you’ve seen around.

So I’d recommend just going with something simple and adjusting if your tank doesn’t like it or if you can get ahold of a par meter. Sorry that’s probably not too much help lol

I’m looking to solve the exact problem and have almost the same lives stock and tank size. Would you mind sharing your findings?
