Hello All,

This is my first post, as I am new to the forum.

I am currently in the stage where I am trying to plan out what items to purchase for a 60 Gallon Cube reef tank. I have been looking at possible lighting solutions, and figured I would ask some more experienced members of the community.

The tanks dimensions are 24" x 24" x 24", and the lights I am considering are either the AI Prime LED Module http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/aqua-illumination-prime-led-module.html or the EcoTech Marine XR15w http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/ecotech-radion-xr15w-pro-led-light-fixture-1.html .

I am leaning more towards the AI Prime due to the built in wifi, but I want to ensure that I have enough coverage throughout the tank. Has anyone had any experience with the AI Prime, and can they confirm that they are able to get the correct coverage throughout their tank with similar dimensions?

Welcome to R2R!

1 ai prime won't be enough. Its rated for a 18"x18" and after 15" deep it really loses par. If anything you would need 2 over your cube.

The radions has a 24"x24" and would work better for your tank. But to control it remotely you would need the reeflink.

I figured that is what it would boil down to. I just wanted someone to confirm my thoughts.

I have no experience with ai prime but if you are going with a lps low light low flow it might be enough, but again no experience with this particular light.
