Ai prime warning and looking for flex arm mounting advice

After my ai prime hd started melting a hole in my biocube hood it’s time to raise it.

I want to attach the mount to the wall behind my tank. Anyone do this ? Need help with ideas

What biocube is it? I was able to attach mine to my 29 gallon fairly easily

Hmm, I see. I've never had one of those before, but I'm assuming the backside of the tank is pretty much the same.

Basically all I did was clamp the light to the very back wall of the tank. It's been there for a few months now, and it seems to be very stable

I was actually originally going to do that with my tank, but got too lazy to actually do it lol.

I saw a video where this guy cut a hole into his biocube hood and attached the light where the hole was. I could try finding the video if you'd like (and if you don't mind cutting your hood a bit).

I had cut mine. Gonna cut it more. Think I figured out what imma do I’ll post pics when I get to it
