AI Sol Blue Question

Not sure if anyone is still running these lights but I got one cheap and just found a controller for it (finally!!)
The controller didn't come with the cord that attaches it to the light, but from some pictures I've found it looks like the cord is just a standard 3.5mm headphone cord. Is that the correct assumption?
I'm also wondering about how the controller is powered, does it get power from the light through the 3.5 mm cord, or should I be looking for a separate power cord?
The controller in question is the older one with a single knob.

I ran those lights for many years. I do believe the cord is standard headphone jack and the controller was powered by an external USB power supply (mini USB on the controller end and full USB with power supply on the other similar to what an Amazon fire stick runs). I'm running their Hydra 26's now with the "new" controller (which is actually like 8 yrs old). It's power cord broke and I used an old Apple charger block with a USB to mini USB cord.

+1 on the above answer.
Tho i never ran the original controller as shown for my SOL as at the time the new wireless controllers with dongle were being sold and control was much easier to program.
A 2a phone charger works like a charm for the controllers and director.

Im still using the old director and non HD setup
