Hey everyone,

I am working on a new project. I picked up a 29 gallon Aquaeuro cube. Of course I had to mod it and made it rimless. I just ordered a AI Nano to go over it. The dimensions are roughly 19x16x18 or so for the display area (could be off a little). I will be doing mostly a mixed reef with zoas, chalice, LPS, and some SPS. Anyone had experience with this light. It looks like it would be plenty for this tank but wanted to double check with people that have used it. I have heard good things about it but let me hear what you guys have to say. Thanks.

Rob

They are really decent lights from my experience. However, a minor concern for me would be the coverage for your 19" wide tank. If your going to have your sps in the middle of the tank then you should fine but if not then you might want to consider another AI. I had mine over an 8 gallon with 11" and it covered it perfectly. Just a thought but let me know how it turns out for you.

What if I was doing lps and chalices? I don't want part of the tank dark or black. It is roughly 19 long by 11 wide.

The sides will be darker. I have one with an innovative marine nuvo 16. I have mostly lps in there. I have darker spots on sides that's where I put zoas and palys. But the light is powerful enough for everything I have in it. Good luck.
