Hello I am having a problem with my AI's. I retro fitted them into my red seamax hood (34g). They ran just great for a few months. Then started blinking, dimming, just not doing what the controller was set to do. So I unplugged the controller for a few hrs. plugged lights back in and still did it.So took them to my LFS and they sent them in and gave me new ones. So put the new ones in the hood and bam it is doin it again. So one of two things I am thinking it is. The controller? But wouldnt unhooking them for a while reset the AI and then they should stay on normal? Or is because of them bein in the hood they are gettin hot and that is messing them up?

When you say that the replacements are doing it again, do you mean that they worked for a few months before messing up?

You have a controller issue. Do a factory reset on it. Then try a firmware update. should fix the problem

K thanx for all the help. I found out what it was. After messing with everything and trouble shooting I found out the hood of my rsm was putting pressure on the fan which was stopping it from running, so think the ai's have a fail safe or something making it dim down so it dont run hot or something. So fixed the hood so it didnt press down on the fan area and so far runs great.
