AI Vega LED light with issues (new setup)

I bought used AI Vega light with wireless controller along with the 55G tank. I am unable to sync with the controller, tried all troubleshooting steps. Can't find a used one either. Would it be ok to plug it on a timer and run during the day, I understand that I cannot play with the red/blue/green/white light intensities, would that be an issue for reef? Also, is the moon light at night needed? Thanks!

Are you still looking for the controller? I happen to have a used one with me. I dont need it since I have installed a AI Wireless LED Control to my neptune systems and control via that, which can actually be another option.

I'm sure many other people might be looking for that controller. I have old Hydra's with the director, and trying to find an Apex AWM, which are like hens teeth. I'm guessing you are using the AWM module?

Yup, I am using the AWM module. I remember getting it for super cheap in my local fish store where they sell used equipments. After they sold it to me, they realized how expensive it was. I have a friend who offered me 300 for that module since he uses around 6 AI Vegas in his tank.
