So i found (4) AI Vegas on fb for sale for $175.00 each and controller for an additional $50.00 and all work. My questions are when did they start coming out because I’ve never really heard anything about Vegas, only hydras and primes. Also are they a good light, As well is it priced good. To me a new Prime 16 that covers 24x24 square is around $200 i can get 2 for my 55 gal and be around the same price but atleast I’d have brand new lights that i can control wirelessly? Any info helps, thanks

AI Vegas predated the Hydra's. They are good quality lights. Unfortunately they can only be controlled by Director or the controller. I still have one (started my present tank with them in 2012) but can't use it because I haven't been able to find a controller for it. Just be aware if the controller goes ker plunk you might not be able to replace it or control your lights.
I never had any problems with mine.. would love to use the one I have if I could find a controller.

Not sure if your still looking but I have a controller for $100 and a AWM for $150 if you are running an Apex. I purchased a bunch of AI stuff and that is a couple of odds and ends that I picked up.
