i almost just bought radions for my tank, i already have a light, But I found radions brand new, on sale, i know its against there policy;. But there is a sale on them. I think ill wait for these though

Every time I think I'm set in buying an led fixture this crap happens. I bought AI sol's sold them and was just about to buy radions this week and now this. I think I might go back to halide t5 for a while until this led war is over.

God only know what another year in led tech will bring.

The war will never be over, new LEDs come out practically every few months, choose the latest and stick with it for a couple years, there is no way to keep up, LOL

Aquacave.com Insiders info pre-order release in August and they work with the AI rail, not sure about the controller.
Release will be 10 per LFS and 20 per online retailer.

Happily running 250W MH Radiums with VHO supplementation. It will be awhile until I make the switch. What is the ole saying KISS. MH have been around for a loooong time and PROVEN; especially with SPS tanks......IMHO.

I am sure there are quite a few very successful reefers running LED's, but I am waiting at least 1-2 years before a make the jump!

Couldn't find any real info on the Vega, but found the Orphek Nilus unit and ordered. Take a look at it.

I spoke with AI tech support today and they told me via email that there will indeed be an upgrade kit available for the sol to function as a vega. Pricing is yet TBD. Im saving my pennies now

I heard the unit is supposedly selling for $400-$500 and who knows on puck upgrades. I would guess the kit to upgrade all your pucks would run about 150 but maybe AI will suprise us. I dont understand why they wouldnt release the color version in their video as seen on reefbuilders. Isnt it easier to order empty units and spend money once on pucks that are custom shippped?! From what I read thats what they are planning anyhow
