It was great. <12 days after I shipped them my Prime I had a replacement on the tank.

I recently purchased a tank setup used. While setting up I noticed that one of the Prime's had a bad fan. I submitted a RMA request online, boxed it up and shipped in. I had no purchase paperwork and only the seller's word that it was ~3months old when I bought the tank.

The day after my package was delivered to AI received a call (voicemail actually) from a service rep explaining that a replacement was being sent and they were holding the broken unit for testing. The next day I had a email with a tracking number.

I received the replacement today and not only is it a new light, it's a Prime HD. They replaced my original prime with the latest model.

I'm certainly impressed with my hassle-free experience.

It's cool that they send you an HD to replace the original Prime. I'm surprised they had you send in your prime first though. When I used their warranty/repair/customer service they sent me a new light and a shipping label and had me send the broken light back to them in the box the new one came in. Had a new light in 2 or 3 days as opposed to the 12? you had to wait.
