Love the tank looking really good! I just set one up myself got a few questions. What settings you running you MP10 on? Do you still have the original main return pump? I got the mightyjet for mine and love it so far very quite. How’s the skimmer working for you I was thinking about just going skimmer-less on this tank. Keep the updates coming not a lot of this tanks out there it’s nice to see a great set up like yours.

Quick update today.

I installed a BRS doser last week for Alk as I was seeing a 1dkh decrease a day in my alk. I set the doser to dose during lights out hours. So far it was been going well. I am still working on fine tuning it it’s been hard because of my crazy work schedule.

Here is a pic of the tank under its moon lighting. ;)

Thank you for the kind words. I’ll attach my mp10 settings. It’s real basic and find it works for my needs. Keep in mind I also have a spin stream return nozzle which puts out some decent flow. I got rid of the stock return pump. It was to loud for my liking and I had a few sice 1.5 laying around so I threw one in there. I do recommed changing out the stock pump. I went skimmerless for a few weeks. One thing that was noticeable was the film algae on the glass that I pretty much had to clean every day. So I decided to go the skimmer route. The one thing that I will say about the nano skimmers is they are tough to adjust. Mine is super quite but often skims a little to wet or a little to dry. There is absolutely no reason that If you don’t over feed and stay on top of weekly water changes, you really don’t need a skimmer. It is worth noting that I also have a intank media basket with carbon and gfo in it.

Yes. The monthly reef tank budget only allowed for the one doser purchase. So I just dose calcium buy hand. It definitely does not complete as quick. I’ll dose maybe every 2 or 3 days

Very beautiful tank. I was just watching your video of the spin stream making noise and I must say that mine is completely silent. It seems that something isn’t aligned right to be making that much noise unless it is just because of more flow going through it. I have a Sicce .5 on mine and even right next to the tank there is no noise.

It’s actually silent now. It weird it’s almost like it had a brake in period

Trying to make it a point to post more often .
I installed a BRS 1.1 ML doser on my tank about 2 months ago. It was working great until is lost it's prime. No I cannot get liquid to pull up through the dosing tubes. I've gone back to manually dosing until I get this problem fixed . Everything else is going well with the system .

Did you try replacing the tube inside the dosing head, you can also add check valves to prevent the lines from draining back into the container

Here’s how I set mine up, not the BRS doser but same principle

I have not had the time to trouble shoot this issue yet .I have some time off this week and I plan on working on it. The doser head is only a few months old. I was thinking about just ordering a dosing container from BRS
