Has anyone had any luck with a refugium in a AIO I have a 25g IM Lagoon and 30g L IM? Also what light did you use?

Set up a simple ATS algae turf scrubber as it is more efficient. After you rough up the plastic mesh, cut it into strips to be a snug fit anywhere there is decent flow and you can light it in the back chambers. Red and blue LEDs sold as grow lights are the ideal lights. It will take 2-3 weeks to start growing algae. Most will grow around the water line. If you can angle the mesh so water flows across at the surface it it will work better.

I never did, but an algae reactor has worked fantastic. Just drop a pump like a mj1200 in one of the back chambers to feed the reactor in the cabinet.
