So is buying an AIO tank more expensive than buying the parts separately? I was thinking maybe 40-90gal but wanted more of a cuboid tank rather than rectangular. I've looked for tanks and only found the ones at petsmart or Petco. I live in a small city and don't have access to higher end pet stores. If parting out is better, is there a website that sells tanks that have the low iron glass for the crystal clear look? Trying to avoid the aqueon tanks, didn't hear too much good stuff on them. I appreciate all help! Thanks! [emoji1360]

40-90Gal AIO start get get expensive and most people end up adding extra items that you would normally put in a sump anyways. It depends on what you're looking to do in the tank and if you have room for a sump. If you're looking to do a full SPS tank with lots of fish then it may make more sense to do a sump and buy what you want. If you're looking for a softy tank or fish only then I think you can get away with AIO setup. I have both but I ended up adding a skimmer and turf scrubber to my AIO.

There are some amazing SPS nano tanks but most of them are running some kind of sump

Mainly softies and some fish but not many. I was hoping that I'd get away with a chalice. But I do like the sump/refugium idea.

I'm liking that Jbj 45gal. Marine depot has it for 400$ which I don't think is bad at all. Considering I was gonna buy an IM Nuvo 20gal for 300$

Any good lights that will be the best bang for the buck. I want a plate coral eventually and want to know how much light I should have or at least kno how to calculate it

Check out Dr Foster& Smith on jbj 45
And also check out Ocean revive or Current Orbit Pro for lighting

I'll give those lights a check and yeah I will def be getting it from there it's 624 with tax with stand and tank combo. 700$ at marine depot

What about the t2040 from ocean revive? I like it because of the moonlights. Any thoughts or experience with thesev
