Has anyone ever setup an AIO where the return pump feeds to an external reactor and then the outlet of reactor goes into the normal display outlet of the tank?

Basically would like to run a chaeto reactor on an AIO without adding a second pump that just feeds the reactor.

If you're fine with either upgrading the pump or living with greatly decreased flow through your return there is no reason this wouldn't work.

Ok now what about kicking it up a notch and putting the pump externally. I have a COR-20, can I just use that and basically use the reactor like a canister filter? Like the ADA Superjets which have the canister and an Iwaki pump mounted externally on top.
