Just got an aquatop 24g secondhand. I’ve been in the process of cleaning the algae from the back of it when I noticed that the right side of the rear chamber separation wall would flex in just ever so slightly when I put light pressure on it. No other part moves and the other seals are good on the outside of the aquarium.

Is this a large problem and should I just scrap the tank and cut my losses or is this something that’s okay?

You could always put some silicone on it or glue it that should hold it just fine. Just make sure it’s saltwater safe. It’s when it’s the outside seems is when I worry.

I wouldnt be to concerned about it...just make sure you fill the front and the back equaly so the pressure is the same so you dont make it worse... a little bit of water transfer through there imo no worries..if you are concerned a little silicone but it doesnt stick well to acrylic.

I agree. It's an inside Baffle and should still... Baffle.. With some water just sneaking through. As long as the rest of it is sturdy enough I suppose

Ps. I also don't think a glob of silicon would hurt.. May not stick as mentioned but I'd probably do it if it was me fwiw :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
