I have a biocube 29 with a sump, put a cpr nano overflow in the last chamber and cut the hood a bit to accommodate it.
cut a small 1/4 hole at the bend going over the tank and put 1/4 tubing in it connected to a qualifier pump that way if the power goes out the pump will bring back the syphon worked for me until I drilled the overflow
You are definitely going to have to prime it in the event of a power outage. Not the easiest thing to do. With the standard hang on type overflow they use baffles to prevent syphon breakage of the drain tube.
You know what I was mistaken it's the eshopps overflow

Might be worth the $45 to you. I can say though I'm not getting 200gph from it, maybe 100.
@rajkovich207 Please share a photo of this. I have been interested in doing something similar. Thanks.I have a biocube 29 with a sump, put a cpr nano overflow in the last chamber and cut the hood a bit to accommodate it.
A 10g nuvo fusionWhat are you putting this in?
Yeah the pics helped thanks! I plan on doing some work to it this weekend I'll post some picsHopefully this loads correctly, please excuse the mess and salt creep lol.
So the overflow sits in chamber three, I clipped out part of the chamber divider to correctly skim the water surface. The clear line you see is the syphon line, the green is the return. A 90° elbow comes with the bc29, I rotated it upside down and pressed the return over it (I think it's 5/8 line, tight fit but some muscle and warm water to soften the tube did the trick) and threw a zip tie on for safe measure. If you look at the bottom of the pic you can just make out the stock return nozel where the water returns to the tank. Hth!
