I have 5 rather large aiptaisa.
Because people will ask and so on .....The usual attempts to kill them off without using a fish have not worked. It has gone from 2 to 5 in 2 years. Each chemical attempt resulting in a new one popping up somewhere in the tank and not killing the old one. The peppermints I think eat any small ones so its not a huge problem. I cannot remove 50 lb rocks to destroy them. Next attempt will be with a fish with hankerin for them.
Now for the weird thing. Yesterday one of them moved about 1" from where it was. It climbed out of a hole and now is more in the light. In all the threads I have read nobody has mentioned one moving.
Anyone have this happen?
