It is attached to the bottom of the pedestal.

I am having trouble trying to see what you are pointing out. But if the believed aipstasia in on the frag plug. You can (and I always recommend) removing the frag from the plug. You don't need the plug and they are easy places for pests to hide.

The little green thing on the frag plug? Looks like a zoa or something a better pic would be great

I don't see any aipasia. Is it hard?

On top there is a zoa on the bottom there is an aiptasia. I can try getting better pics with a different camera.

Finally have them.

That looks to be a vermatid. They are a pest in large numbers. That 'string' you see is it fishing for food. If it catches something, it will reel it back in. That mucous can irritate some corals it makes contact with. You can snap it off if you like.

I did a little more research on them and it's not that, however I do have those on my snails.

Do those flow around in the current because this dose it is "soft".
does it look like an anemone when open? I would just remove it, can you pull your coral off of the plug? I almost never add frag plugs to my tank as they often carry pests ( or you can swap it to a new plug).

It doesn’t look like aptasia to me. But regardless, I never welcome a dirty foreign plug in my tank. Pop off the coral and place it on a new plug. If you don’t do this you’ll end up with aptasia eventually, just a matter of time. :-)
