Aiptasia cleanup (deep removal)

"Transfer by fish is perhaps the most common means of creating a biosecurity problem. A fish harboring a disease, moved into a system with healthy fish often brings on active disease in those fish. Quarantine is designed to limit, (but won’t eliminate) this issue."

everything I'd typed originally was designed to help Y's tank, not harm it. a tap hammer and a screwdriver is the most non aggressive offer anyone could type in a help thread. stating that we as tank owners are in control of what thrives and what doesn't only sounds offensive to those who reef from the back seat.

I'm always trying to meet assertive reefers who are ready to take the helm so we can use that attitude in procedure writeups.

everything recommended to reefers by peers regarding aiptasia control is a hopeful action vs a commanding one, a biosecurity risk Jay would never advise, a fragmenting option, it's just never a direct win.

I set up folks for the win as best as possible, but passivity is usually the chosen mode we can see from any searches on the matter. aiptasia is a problem only due to a passive mindset, the anemone itself isn't superman for example.

somewhere out there someone is fed up and willing to win in 20 minutes on a rock that simple like what Y has shown. It will likely be someone who's tank we transferred or cycled successfully, and simple trust between us will forego all the peer hating for my recommends. I can understand how someone I've never met before would feel offended or skeptical being linked to a direct cure option without all the wishy washy stuff in the middle.

I noticed how no links were provided to the OP for an actual cure someone here caused. they were given word of mouth cure options, that's how it always goes down.
