Aiptasia driving me insane

Are berghia nudi the only real way to completely remove aiptasia from a system??...I had peppermint in my tank that ate the aiptasia but they don't get to the ones that are up on the scape with high flow and now the population is starting to explode

You can try an aiptasia eating filefish. As with other types of biological control, they are hit or miss. They are cheap so it is worth a try.

I really dont want to take the rock out kill all the beneficial bacteria and coraline algae to kill all the aiptaisa

I know what a pain it can be. Have you tried F-Aiptasia from Frank's Tanks?

Have not tried any stuff like that yet, I bought lemon juice but then read if you kill them they just spread even more

You can take the rock out for few min and using a torch lighter burn the infected area deep into the caves Aiptasia is hiding. Rinse the rock with saltwater and place it back in tank. You wont loose any bacteria or coraline algae.

Nudis ate really the only 100% guaranteef way to get rid of aiptasia. They eat em all then starve to death once there are no more however.
