Ok so I have a 30g tank that will have coral in about a month, the tank is fully cycled, I just want a small bioload and nitrates at zero before adding any (started with cultured live rock and sand). Looking to add 2 clowns and a royal gramma and maybe an aiptasia eating filefish. I have heard horror stories about the aiptasia eating filefish in reef tanks nipping at coral. There is no aiptasia in the tank so if the fish is on frozen/flake food from the start would he be less likely to nip at coral or should I play it safe and stay away? I always want whats best for all inhabitants so any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to R2R Nick! From everything I have read, it is going to be a gamble. If it were me, I would probably just stay away.

Yea I am leaning towards that too. I really like them but will probably go without one. I have been doing a lot of research and its hit or miss but my luck I will get one that eats everything, haha! Thanks for your opinion.
