abyone have any success with the Aiptasia eating fish?? If so, which ones, I have some in my tank I’d like to get rid of.

ORA aiptasia eating filefish does not touch the stuff in my case. Others have had success with this fish, so I guess it varies.

Matted Filefish(Acreichthys tomentosus) has noted above. I have used one prior with great success. Took about a month but it made short work of everything. Also ate pellet food and mixed frozen (brine, mysis). Even nori sheets. Would still have him today but once he started on my Xenia that was it. It was just a starter frag that didn't have a chance to get going so had to choose. Side note mine did pick at my hammer coral(s). They are established so while they reacted they never had issues and seem to manage the nip here and there.

+1 on matted filefish. About 2/3 of mine did their job with majabos and aiptasia.

Added bonus: when they’ve outlived their usefulness or the job is done — easily net them out. They hang around at the top of the water column in the corner of the tank most of the time and are pretty slow moving— easy to surprise!
