I have been fighting aiptasia for months. Even purchased am aiptasia eating file fish. He is now one of my favorites but aiptasia persist. I have read about peppermint shrimp. Has anyone kept a shrimp in an tank with wrasses? I have a good size yellow and one other. Can't recall the name. Would this work or am I just adding wrasse food, not to mention killing a shrimp?

Need to kill the med to larger ones with some king of paste. Upon killing them, they will release spores and create babies.

At the baby Aiptasia stage I've always had success with a Copperband Butterfly. They'll eat the babies. Med to large ones they get stung so they shy away. But babies they can pluck off in one bite is what they want.

Peppermint shrimp worked great for me. Although, I dont have a wrasse. The peppermint shrimp I got were pretty big, at least 2 inches. They will attack tube anemones.
