Hi everyone,

Can yall please help identify what is growing at the bottom of my coral?

Not sure if this is a problem I need to address. What do I do next?

Aptaisia and a vermetid snail.

I like lemon juice to remove the aptaisia, just do it over the kitchen sink. A squirt at the foot and they should let go of there foot.
Scrape the vermetid snail while your there.

If you have one, you will likely have more. My favorite spot eradication method is F Aiptasia. I've had it in one of my tanks for years ... i just zap them about every 2 weeks and keep things manageable. Taking the rocks out is not an option. There are many other ways but this is pretty easy, reef safe (as long as you don't get any on your corals which is pretty easy with their applicator).

and superglue the spot, for good measure :)

Looks like maybe some bubble algae on the underside of the frag plug too.

Pic is distant and looks like aptasia but can also be a hydroid but cant expand pic.
Make it simple and whether either, Using a syringe or pipette, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away

No, when the foot let's go, that's all. All gone. It won't burst in a thousand pieces and spread when it let's go of the foot. It just drops into the kitchen sink to be sprayed down the drain forever gone out of the system.
Can you tell I love doing that?
