Mods, if this is not in the right place please move. I was advised that I had some aiptasia on some of my live rock. I have been Googling ID's and treatments and I just want to confirm that this is indeed what I have and what is the best treatment for it in terms of ease of administration, safety, etc. I have a copper banded butterflyfish in there now but today he is hiding. Going t test water parameters to see if that has anything to do with it. He was added 2 days ago and was swimming around fine, although he would go to the back of the tank and hide behind the rocks when we came up, which I expected. Now he's just hiding in the rocks and won't come out. Definitely alive.

I also have the next one that I'm not sure if it's aiptasia. The first pic should be second. It's the fluffy white one in the middle of the brown coral (?)

Your first picture(s) is a button polyp. It isn't bad but it can grow quickly and smother other corals you'd rather have grow. Currently I wouldn't worry about it. The 2nd picture are just a type of feather duster, which is a filter feeder. The brown encrusting coral could be a goniopora but it's hard to tell for sure.

I don't see any Aiptasia in your tank.
You have some Palys in there and Feathers dusters.
