Hello everyone...just want to verify...is this the dreaded aiptasia? Tank has just begun to cycle.....

Yes it is. Try the Redsea anti Aiptasia stuff it worked great for me.
 
If you just started the cycle and those aiptasia are isolated on that piece save yourself some time and frustration and remove the piece.

Well not that easy, the rock is at the bottom of the structure so I really don't want to remove all the rock, can I still use the product while the tank is cycling? Thanks...
 
Sure of course you can.
 
I second on the aptasia x it works great wiped my tank of them with it.
 
Aptasia X or kalk. Pretty sure that's what most aptasia products are made of anyway. If you want to go the natural way, boil some water, draw it into a syringe and shot them little suckers.
