So I’ve just discovered two aiptasia living on top of the sock housing in my sump... I also have one attached on my bio block. Has anyone ever experienced this? What would be the best possible mode of attack? I don’t want to disturb it and have it spread even more.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You could consider injecting it directly in the stem with scalding hot RODI water or strong lemon juice. It will kill them without use of chemicals that could damage the tank's chemistry.

Fill a big syringe with boiling water and blast them.

If I try scraping him off, will it end up spreading even worse though?

get a turkey baster and squirt water on the appy to get it to close up,,get a sharp razor blade and hold the turkey baster close by the appy,,scrape the appy off the sump and suck the appy up with turkey baster in one motion..
