Was looking at my tank this morning before the lights came on. I have a GSP that's maybe 6" long and 2" wide that hadn't opened up yet and noticed several small aiptasia on it. Typically I use F-Aiptasia around my tank, but I thought I'd read somewhere to keep it away from living things in the tank.

Looking for some opinions here on what to do. Should I try to cut out the areas of GSP that have aiptasia? Treat it with F-Aiptasia? Or just throw the entire piece of GSP away? I have another larger GSP in another part of the tank that appears to be ok.

Aiptasia-x does not harm polyps unless they ingest it, and the GSP can't ingest it if it's closed.

I put some F aiptasia on one that was in my Daisy star polyps. Then put some on a piece of that coral putty and covered it completely. Hoping the daisys will just encrust it and hide it all. They grow so fast and shouldn’t take long to hide it.
