I have recently noticed my more delicate corals STNing, getting less PE and darkening [Millipora with no PE, challices STNing and a Monti discourling (Brown)] . What I have also noticed is a bunch of various zoanthids are closed and upset where there is aiptasia growing. I have been adding about 3 or 4 peppermints every other week or so until I start to see the aiptasia dying back. I was using Aiptasia-x for the larger ones but that is getting costly and I would rather put that money into Peppermints.
Is it possible that there are so many aiptaisa's around the zoanthids and other corals that release toxins that the toxins are causing the STN?
Thanks in advance!!!
