I have not had a bad aiptasia problem but ahave had a few living in my sump and I did want them to spread to the DT. I suspect I have had a few in the DT but my peppermint shrimp has kept them in check but I have not seen him in couple of weeks so I figured now is time to drop the bomb in my sump. I pulled everything out, paired down my chaeto, and shop vac-ed my sump dry, scrapped the sides clean and gave it all a vinegar soak. Now my sump is squeaky clean I hopefully I have gotten rid of 99% of the aiptasia in there.
