Hi there!

Is this aiptasia? If so, I've heard you can burn it with fire but since it's on the coral's base I'm not sure if that's safe for the coral. I don't have a problem with going out and buying Aiptasia X but I have fire and I don't have Aiptasia X...

Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you!

looks like it, try a Peppermint Shrimp, I noticed about 3-4 in my tank, brought a peppermint home and now they are all gone. 6 bucks at my LFS so worth a try.

Lol. When people comment to "burn it with fire" they don't mean to actually set it on fire. It's a joke on words. Best bet is to take the coral out, scrape off as much of the aptasia as possible and then put a glob of superglue or epoxy over where it was so it dies out and cannot grow back. :)

If you don’t want to use super glue, put a drop of lime in each aptasia....
