I'm looking for confirmation that this is an Aiptasia on a leather frag I purchase 3 weeks ago. It's a 10 week old tank. I'm not sure how to get to it or if I'm going to hurt the leather removing it any suggestions would be appreciative.

Looks like a aiptasia to me.
I would take the frag out of the tank and using a knife, scrape the aiptasia off and rinse well in a bowl of tank water.
You don't have to cut anything. just use the knife to scrape.
If the surface of the spot is rough where the aiptasia is rooted, try and scape off a little of that material.
Just do it outside the tank and rinse well.

Just make sure you get it all :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Best and safest removal:
Using syringe, inject either lemon juice or better yet. . kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the very center core and it will melt away
