Picked up this zoa frag at the LFS a couple weeks ago, and I've noticed an aiptasia that hitchhiked in on the frag plug. I'm planning to go after it with kalk paste, but I'm afraid of injuring the zoas. Is there a better way?

My advise is to remove the zoa from the plug, and then toss the frag plug.

I hadn't thought of that. Will the zoa colony peel off the frag plug in a mat like GSP, or will they all want to come away as individual polyps that I'll have to deal with?

It really will depend on the zoa itself. Hopefully you can take them off as a "colony" and just glue them to a new plug or a piece of rock rubble. I've taken a razor before and "scraped" a coral off the plug.
