Hey guys,

I've just got back into reefing after over a decade out of the game. Have a 60 gal cube which has cycled and currently has just 2 clowns and 20kg of live rock. I know a lot of people don't run live rock these days as its considered risky. I decided to go with it as it is the technique I was used to from the past. I've just noticed a small anemone or possibly a Zoanthid in the corner or the tank. It doesn't look like Aiptasia to me but I thought I'd ask the question as I've been out of the game for some time. Sorry about the picture quality.

Thanks in advance.

It looks to be a zoanthid/paly that isn't fully opened up. Not aiptasia thankfully. [emoji6]

I will endeavour to take a better photo in a couple of days as I'm out at work and the misses is maxed out on her reefing skills just feeding the tank.

I vote majano as well. If it is not there when you come back that may be confirmation as it may have moved.

If it is majano what's the best way to get rid of it? How bad are they? I've never had them before.
